CTC Volunteer Coaches bring diverse professional experience, knowledge and expertise from illustrious careers in human resources, recruiting, management, training, leadership development, and coaching in financial services, healthcare, education, not-for-profit, government sectors. In addition, many possess coaching certification from the International Coach Federation (ICF) approved institutions such as the Coaches Training Institute (CTI), iPEC and Fielding.

Amy is the President of Amy’s Amazing Resume Coaching, which she started in 2018. For three years prior, Amy served as a Certified Career Transition Coach and Certified LinkedIn Profile Content Reviewer with Challenger Gray & Christmas, where she provided customized intensive and follow-up outplacement services to over 300 former corporate employees released by their employers.

Prior to that, she worked for Jewish Vocational Services, providing employment services to a wide variety of people with challenges. As the program coordinator for the JVS Duman Entrepreneurship Center, she managed over 100 entrepreneurship programs.

Amy is deeply committed to collaborating with individuals and helping them to reach their career goals—whether it’s a first job, career progression, career transition, starting a business, or moving toward retirement.  She specializes in motivating job seekers and helping them to recognize and build upon their own strengths.

Jessica Worny Janicki

Jessica Worny Janicki loves helping people and organizations develop their talent. She works with clients to take their resumes to a higher level through advanced customization techniques at her “Resume Clinic” workshop.  She also partners with coach Bo Golovan to help clients understand how emotional intelligence can be the secret to success, and teaches them how to develop it at workshops “Introduction to Emotional Intelligence,” and “Developing Your Emotional Intelligence.”  Additionally, Jessica coaches’ clients from CTC’s Virtual Services program.

As an independent career coach, Jessica has worked with over 1,500 people from over 20 nations.  She helps clients to paint the picture of their career vision, assess the gaps between today and that vision, and take actions to move towards it – one step at a time.

Jessica worked in business as a salesperson, OD consultant, and trainer.  She has also worked with graduate business students and alumni as a coach, and has developed and taught courses in career development, job search, and professionalism. 

She is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC), Certified Five O’Clock Club Career Coach, MBTI Master Practitioner, facilitator of the Strong Interest Inventory, the Emotional and Social Competence Inventory (ESCI), and the EQ-i 2.0.  She is an active member of and speaker with several associations, including the International Coach Federation, National Career Development Association, Chicago Association for Psychological Type, and the Five O’Clock Club Guild.  She has spoken at the NCDA and SAMA conferences.

Jill served on the board of Public Narrative [formerly Community Media Workshop] for 12 years; she is a past co-president of the Publicity Club of Chicago, and a former board member and client of CTC. Through her 15+ years in consulting, Beth began focusing on organizational change, behavioral interviewing, competencies and leadership assessment and development. Her passions are in leadership assessments and coaching.

Sherry Woodry

 For over 25 years, she held a variety of senior human resource leadership positions in industrial and financial services businesses. Her experience includes global strategic business partnership roles with large employee populations in several geographies. Her consulting practice focuses on leadership and team coaching, leadership development, training and facilitation.  

 Sherry holds a Professional Certified Coach qualification from the International Coaching Federation, holds a master’s certificate from Fielding Graduate University in Evidence-Based Coaching and graduate of Coaches Training Institute. She is a certified practitioner of Birkman and Hogan leadership assessments.

Sherry has a strong commitment to volunteerism and has served on nonprofit boards and volunteers at Fourth Presbyterian Church, CTC and Executive Service Corp of Chicago.
