Become a Volunteer

The Career Transitions Center of Chicago's mission is to provide professional, emotional and spiritual support to those seeking a job, looking for meaningful work, or otherwise undergoing a career transition. CTC is a volunteer-driven, non-profit organization providing professional assistance to individuals in employment transition.

The Career Transitions Center of Chicago (CTC) could not function without the support of our volunteers, all of whom are professionals with experience in a variety of fields related to career fulfillment including:

  • Career or Executive Coaching
  • Career Counseling
  • Training and Development
  • Recruiting
  • Executive Search
  • Human Resources

Our Volunteer Team of more than 50 talented and experienced individuals who devote time every week to help keep our clients on their paths to progress. They also play a critical role in ensuring that our programming continues to be fresh and relevant to today's trends. Volunteering with CTC is a great opportunity to expand your network, to be of service and to build new skills and resources for your career development.

Volunteer activities take place at CTC offices or by phone/Skype, depending on your preferences. Opportunities include in-person and virtual coaching, as well as workshop or peer group facilitation. Volunteers donate anywhere from two to eight hours a week.
