Anita Jenke is the Executive Director of The Career Transitions Center of Chicago.  Previously, Anita was the first development director at The Women’s Treatment Center in Chicago. Anita has over twenty years of experience in nonprofit management, workforce development, and fundraising. Anita received a Bachelor of Arts in History from Murray State University, Murray, KY, and attended graduate school there as well.

An avid volunteer for arts and community service organizations, Anita has worked with and served on several nonprofit boards. She serves on the board of The Chicago Jobs Council and the DePaul Institute for Business and Professional Ethics. She is also a member of the Career Education Advisory Council at Elmhurst College. She is the past president of the board of Woman Made Gallery and volunteers with Acts of Kindness Cabaret. Anita was the 2013 recipient of the Illinois Career Development Association's Advocacy Award.
