Pat Arnold Available: Virtual Coaching


Four-time Emmy nominee Patricia L. Arnold is the chief strategic officer of PhoeniX Strategic Communications.  Pat’s broadcast journalism career includes nearly 20 years as a writer/producer with ABC-7 Chicago and NBC-5 Chicago. She’s also was an anchor/reporter at KSTP-TV in Minneapolis, senior reporter at WFAA-TV in Dallas, and was the Chicago correspondent for Black Entertainment TV News. 

Fulfilling her passion to help others, Pat recently worked as an outplacement coach for managerial, executive and C-Suite clients impacted by corporate restructuring. Most were communications and marketing professionals. Pat is on the board of Male Mogul Initiative, volunteers with AARP Illinois, and serves as a marketing committee member for the workplace advocacy organization, Women Employed. She was named one of "100 Women Making a Difference" by Today's Chicago Woman, is a Golden Life member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, past vice president of the Chicago Association of Black Journalists and is the founding president of the Twin Cities Association of Black Journalists. 

She has written two books on common-sense spirituality: Crossing an Unseen Bridge: The Law of Attraction Secrets No One Wants to Talk About (March 2008) and the spiritual memoir EARTH Is the MOTHER of All Drama Queens: Unmasking the Truth behind Our Life Stories (January 2005).

Pat holds a master’s degree in mass communication from the University of Minnesota and a bachelor’s degree in secondary English education from the University of Illinois. She has taught English, journalism and public relations at Roosevelt University, the City Colleges of Chicago and the Chicago Public Schools. She also conducts commonsense spirituality workshops in various areas of the country.
