Sue Lawler Available: Virtual Coaching


Sue was the Vice President of Professional Development for the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) from 2013 to 2016. Under her leadership, over 200 education and networking programs including the Congress on Healthcare Leadership were delivered annually to the 40,000 plus members. Lawler oversaw the Career Resource Center, ACCME accreditation and implemented a new strategic plan, learning technologies, and Baldrige efforts resulting in two Illinois Performance Excellence Silver Awards.

Sue holds a BS in Accounting from the University of Illinois, an MBA from Northwestern University, and a PhD in Organizational Development from Benedictine University. Lawler has taught multiple courses and coached students and clients on leadership and career transitions. Her research explored how coaches help their clients achieve sustained change. An avid traveler, Lawler has explored 57 countries on all seven continents. Chicago board service included the Kellogg Alumni Club, Career Transitions Center and the Union League Club.
