Mike Delaney combines 35 years of human resources experience with an arsenal of techniques learned at a top coaching school. He helps clients figure out what's keeping them from using the knowledge they already have. The most common problems his clients face are inertia and "mistaking activity for progress," he says. "Maybe you were really busy last week, but what did you do that made progress?" he asks.

A Certified Professional Integral Coach, Mike trained at Integral Coaching Canada, one of the world’s leading coaching schools. Integral Coaching is a method that seeks to draw on the leading schools of adult development and use the best of what each has to offer.

Mike’s experience spans several industries including financial services, professional services and manufacturing. He's worked in both corporate environments and as a consultant with employers including American Express Tax and Business Services, RSM McGladrey (a division of H&R Block), Heller Financial (a division of General Electric Financial Services), and British Petroleum. He holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology from University of Illinois, an M.A. in Industrial Relations/Organization Development from University of Minnesota and has continued his studies in change management and leadership development through Northwestern University. Mike leads the Chicago office of The Center for Character-Based Leadership.
